Shane Pierce is a self-taught artist. Born in 1973 in St. Louis Missouri, Shane took to art as soon as he was able to hold a crayon. Throughout his childhood Shane developed an appreciation for drawing and painting. Years of artistic expression made it clear that Shane's life would be centered around his passion for art. While attending high school he won many art awards and contests that, and his art teacher, encouraged his confidence and growth as an artist. After high school, Shane received his first art commission and from that point on he hasn't looked back. Shane has been a professional full-time artist for over 18 years. Shane lives in Cary, North Carolina with his wife Michelle, two sons, three dogs and five Koi fish.
